This ash log is 32” wide. Too wide for our sawmill. That’s why we busted out the #Stihl880 and our “Alaskan Mill” from #Grandberg.
Many folks are stoked about this setup, it’s a great way to slab big logs if you’re not ready to jump into big mills.
But Lordy, it’s time consuming and takes skill and strength. And some legit teamwork.
